"This has a very attractive bouquet with bramble, scorched earth, a touch of fennel and pine. The palate is medium bodied with firm tannins matched with ripe, peppery black fruits and a gentle but insistent grip towards the finish. Very fine." Neal Martin 90/100

Aged 50% in oak barrels, 50% in stainless steel.

This is from a collaboration between Anne Gros and Jean-Paul, two very well known and respected Burgundian wine makers, from their estate in Cazelles in Minervois, Languedoc. The vines are between 22 years old for the Grenache and Syrah and 50 years old for the Cinsault and the Carignan. Very precise wine-making from 2 of Burgundy's wine stars for a fraction of the cost.
