Tasting Note

A wonderful 100% Sauvignon Blanc - this is the first white wine from this brilliant Chateau, and reminds me a lot of the legendary La Louviere from Pessac-Leognan. Only 120 bottles available (out of 4500 produced) and the wine will be available late October 2024.

Producer

This great property is now run by two of the late Marc Pagès’s grandsons, Frédéric Le Clerc (ex Ecole Polytechnique) and Benjamin Richer des Forges. They are very capable. A further 12 hectares of superb land were purchased to add to the 55 hectares. The average age of the vines is well over 40 years. A new impressive temperature controlled storage cellar has also been built.
