The biggest parcel of vines that go into Amirault's Bourgueil. Entirely Cabernet Franc, from vines with an average age of 30 - 35 years old. It has lots of fresh fruit aromas, with cranberry and spice on the palate.

Producer

With 3.9 hectares of the Malgangnes vineyard that he inherited from his grandfather, Yannick Amirault created his own Domaine in 1977, where his son, Benoit, joined in 2003, and today it now has 20 hectares. 2/3 of the land is in Bourgueil and 1/3 of the land is in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil which is split into 25 different parcels. The Domaine has been certified organic since 2009 and they have avoided the use of chemicals and week killers since 1997. The vines range between 45 and 50 years old and all the wines go into a mixture of barriques and demi-muids.
