Islands & Campbeltown
The Islands and Campbeltown - well this is easy to let you know where it is. You have the islands around Scotland (Arran, Jura, Orkney, Skye, Mull) and the Kintyre peninsula - the one that Paul McCartney and Wings sang about back in the 1970s. There is the island of Islay as well, but we've left that out of here and seperated that off.
A majority of the island distilleries are owned by big corporations (who won't supply direct to small retailers), so we tend to focus on independent bottlings from these distilleries, but occasionally, a tasty bottle from them gets onto our list.
