Situated in Briona, now Fara, the Castaldi family has cultivated wine since the 1700s. Francesca Castaldi began leading the family business in 1995, ushering in a transformative era focused on quality and sustainability. Under her direction, the vineyard and cellar were revitalized, embracing a fully organic approach. Today, Francesca, alongside her son Marco, manages 8 hectares of their land, producing distinct wineswith the indigenous grape Nebbiolo, Vespolina, and Uva Rara. Their commitment to organic practices and maintaining the integrity of their terroir ensures each bottle reflects Fara’s rich heritage.
