Le Grappin Savigny-Les-Beaune Blanc 2017 75cl
Yellow nectarine, lemon curd and poached pear and a hint of anise on the nose. The palate is lush, with the signature goût de silex of Savigny-lès-Beaune Blancs from above the village, which shows here as a weighty, round, generous and deep mouthfeel matched with minerality. There is the customary drive of linear acidity in these parcels which balances the weight and lengthens the wines finishing both grippy and zippy.
Quite tense nose with lots of broad, flowery accessible fruit. Easy to love with an undertow of wet stones. Jancis Robinson MW, 16/20
This is textured, waxy and full of character, with hints of pastry and citrus. Tim Atkin MW, 91/100
