Isle of Jura 18 Year Old 70cl

Sweet caramel, beeswax and then a cereal and oaky note on the nose. The palate is spicy with damson jam and nutty elements.

Built in 1810, the distillery was originally very peaty - very different from now. In the latter part of the Victorian era the distillery was rebuilt and then went to ruin, before the distillery was reopened in 1963.
