Chateau Mazetier 2018 75cl

£10.95 GBP

Tasting Note

A fabulous, approachable, easy drinking Bordeaux made by Pascal Pallaruelo who is one of the great new winemakers making affordable Bordeaux. The Mazetier pours a dark ruby with a scarlet rim. On the nose, it is aromatic with wild cherry and ripe raspberry rising from the glass, mixed with notes of cassis and spice. On the palate, dark cherry fruit and silky lavender envelop a light mineral backbone. The finish is soft and lush, yet still retains its elegance.
