Medium bodied, with a dose of sugar and plenty of acid to balance it out. Yellow peach, quince, slate, and a light spice on the finish.

Producer

With just one hectare of vines, Alfred and Rolf Merkelbach's style was a perfect example of old fashioned winemaking. Very little has changed in 70 years and, even though the brothers passed on the company to their long time friends, the Selbach family, very little has changed.
