Niepoort
At long last, Niepoort hits our shelves. The doyen of the Douro, Dirk Niepoort started experimenting with wine in 1990 and production of the Redoma Tinto started a year later, a wine that I was fortunate to try in 2005 and was fantastic. The wines are outstanding, and I'm so glad we are now stocking them and maybe, one day, we'll get Dirk to do an online tasting!
