Maison Williams Chase
PROVENCE, FRANCE
Growing up in Herefordshire, William Chase spent twenty years selling his potatoes to supermarkets, when he realised he needed to do something else. In 2002 he decided to become reattached to his product and started Tyrrell's potato chips. Success followed and a couple of years later he thought it might be an idea to make potato vodka, and Chase Distillery was born, but it took four years to make the first batch of spirit in June 2008.
Expanding into making gin as well as vodka was the next step, and the latest addition was the purchase a vineyard in Provence, and a range of wines called Maison Williams Chase, including a rosé that is really delicious and wonderfully packaged.
We love their spirits and wine, and the entrepreneurial attitude of William Chase and are really pleased to be stocking their products.
