Cavalchina Bardolino 2022 75cl

£15.95 GBP

Tasting Note

Real Bardolino. An earthy, zesty cherry palate with a lively finish. I'm a fan of anythig which comes in with a solid but not overpowering cherry touch and this has done it so well. The wine is grounded by the more earthy notes and citrus flavours.

Producer

Cavalchina was a pioneering winery in the 1960’s by being the first to commercialise its wine as Bianco di Custoza rather than simply selling it as Soave. Today its flagship wine, Amedeo, is regarded as one of the best in the region and the current generation, Luciano Piona and his brother Franco, are making the estate into one of the most significant in Custoza.
