Chateau Civrac-Lagrange 2018 75cl

£24.50 GBP

Tasting Note

Gentle nose, ripe red fruit. Soft in the first taste, nice tanines, long aftertaste with red fruit.

Producer

Vieux Château Gaubert has 40 hectares of vines at Portets in the heart of the Graves appellation. The low-yielding old vines produce a rich, concentrated, age-worthy wine seasoned with a judicious dose of new oak. Château Civrac-Lagrange, in Pessac-Léognan, was bought by Dominique Haverlan in 2004. Vinification is in stainless steel vats followed by 12 months maturation in 30% new oak barrels.
